BayWa r.e. Solar Systems Corporation in Philippines is recognized as 2021 Solar Company of the Year in the category of DISTRIBUTOR.
BayWa r.e. in the Philippines has won an award at the Philippines Solar Week 2021 for being the Solar Company of the year in the Distributor category. Amongst the other companies evaluated by the awards committee were top solar players, trading businesses and distributors. The team emerged as a winner for bringing in Business Excellence for solar distribution business.
The Philippines Solar Week Conference is a yearly event which was held virtually this year. The sales manager for BayWa r.e. Philippines, Leonides Lechoncito accepted the award on behalf of the team. He pointed out that importance of having a customer centric approach coupled with hard work and dedication has led them to this award. The commitment of the Philippines team to support and expand renewable energy transition in the country has never wavered despite so many market challenges.
BayWa r.e. was established in the Philippines at the end of 2019, a young team striving to grow and to expand their market presence in the country. The pandemic has not been easy to battle with for an emerging market like the Philippines but despite all the challenges the team has successfully achieved great milestones even at an early stage. In a span of 2 years, BayWa r.e. – Philippines entity has served many interesting customers and projects in the country.
In the most recent months BayWa r.e. in the Philippines has secured numerous amounts of outstanding and game changing projects. To name a few, the company has secured deals to supply products for a major fast-food chain and has completed project supply for Maynilad Water Services, a wastewater services provider in the greater part of Metro Manila.
